How the Worklife Rewards™ Program Works
Is there a membership fee to join Worklife Rewards™ ?

No, your membership is FREE! It's our way of thanking our best customers for shopping at Office Depot.

How can I earn Rewards?

You can earn Rewards by shopping at Office Depot. Present your Worklife Rewards™ Member Card or provide your Membership Number when you are shopping in-store, by phone, or on-line.

As a Worklife Rewards™ Member, how will I earn a Reward, and when would I receive my Office Depot Reward Card?

You’ll receive 10% back in Rewards on ink, toner, paper and our Design, Print & Ship™ services PLUS 1% back in Rewards on nearly everything else when you earn least $10 in Rewards.

Example: Spend $50 on ink (accrue $5 in Rewards); $300 on a computer desk and $200 on a office chair (accrue $5 in Rewards)

        $5 PLUS $5 = $10 in Rewards

Example: Spend $100 on paper (accrue $10 in Rewards) and $250 on a camera (accrue $2.50 in Rewards)

        $10 PLUS $2.50 = $12.50 in Rewards

Office Depot Reward Cards are issued within 60 days after the end of each quarter. If you earn less than $10 in Rewards during a quarter, your Rewards will carry over from quarter to quarter for a calendar year.

Are there items that do not qualify me to earn Rewards?

There are a few exclusions. Please refer to the Reward Program section of the Terms and Conditions for a list of exclusions.

When will I receive my Worklife Rewards™ Member Card?

You will receive your Worklife Rewards™ Member Card approximately four to six weeks after you registered for the program.

Will Office Depot reward cards expire?

Office Depot reward cards are valid for 90 days. If you do not use your Office Depot Reward Card during the specified period, the reward card will expire.

Redeeming Rebates
How do I redeem my Worklife Rewards Visa® Credit Card Rebates?

All rebates will automatically accrue and be summarized on your monthly billing statement. The rebate total from your previous statement will automatically be applied as a statement credit in the next billing statement containing an Office Depot® purchase. You only need to make one Office Depot® purchase per month for any amount and your statement credit will automatically be applied. If you do not make an Office Depot® purchase in a given month, your rebates will continue to accrue and be summarized on your monthly billing statement. They will be applied the next month that an Office Depot® purchase is made.

When you receive your new card in the mail, all you need to do is call the 800 number in the letter to activate your new card. Remember to be sure to update your expiration dates on any automatic bill payments you may have. You will receive your new card in the November/December 2007 timeframe.

  1. You will earn a 5% rebate on Office Depot net purchases and a 1% rebate on all other net purchases. You do not earn rebates on balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like charges such as travelers checks, foreign currency, and money orders, any checks that are used to access your account, overdraft advances, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including fees for products that protect or insure the balances of your account. There is no maximum number of rebates that you can accumulate in the program. All rebates will be summarized on your monthly billing statement. The rebate total from the previous month will automatically be applied as a statement credit in the next billing statement containing an Office Depot purchase. As a Worklife Rewards member, how will I earn HP PurchasEdge Rewards, and when would I receive my HP PurchasEdge Rewards card?

You must sign up to participate in HP PurchasEdge Rewards My Special Offer Promotion at www.myworkliferewards.com. Then, just present your Worklife Rewards membership card or provide your membership number when you are shopping in-store, by phone or online.

Once you spend a minimum of $250 on HP ink, toner or paper at Office Depot during a Pilot Rewards Period, members will receive 4% back in rewards, issued in the form of a HP PurchasEdge Rewards card. If you have spent less than $250 during a reward period, your rewards will carry forward to the next rewards period until you reach the end of the last Pilot Rewards Period.

HP PurchasEdge Rewards cards are issued 60 days after the end of each Pilot Rewards Period.

Will my HP PurchasEdge Rewards be issued on the same card as my Rewards from the Worklife Rewards program?

No, HP PurchasEdge Rewards will be issued separately in the form of an HP PurchasEdge Rewards card within 60 days after the end of each Pilot Rewards Period. You will receive a separate mailer with your HP PurchasEdge Rewards.

How long are the Pilot Rewards Periods?

The duration of each Pilot Rewards Period is as follows:

  • September 1–December 31, 2007
  • January 1–March 31, 2008
  • April 1–June 30, 2008
  • July 1–September 30, 2008
  • October 1–December 31, 2008

Will HP PurchasEdge Rewards cards expire?

Yes, all HP PurchasEdge Rewards cards will expire on November 30, 2009. Any unused balance on a rewards card will not be redeemable after the card is expired.

Do I have to wait for the beginning of a Pilot Rewards Period to participate?

No, you may sign up to participate in the HP PurchasEdge Rewards My Special Offer promotion at any time from September 1, 2007, now extended through December 31, 2008. All HP ink, toner and paper purchases made during the entire pilot promotion period, where Worklife Rewards Member Number was provided at checkout, will count toward your rewards earnings once you sign up to participate.

Will I be able to view my HP PurchasEdge Rewards online at www.myworkliferewards.com?

At the moment, we are unable to provide your HP PurchasEdge Rewards accrued as part of your Reward Status for Worklife Rewards. It is suggested that you retain your receipt(s) for HP brand Ink, Toner & Paper purchases for your personal records.

If I don’t reach a reward by the end of a rewards period, does my balance carry over to the next reward period?

Qualifying purchases will be carried over from prior Pilot Rewards Periods. However, if you do not reach the qualifying $250 threshold at the end of the last quarter of the pilot, then all unpaid rewards will expire at the end of the pilot, which is December 31, 2008.

Is there a limit to the amount of rewards earned?

There is no limit on the amount of HP PurchasEdge Rewards that can be earned during a Pilot Rewards Period or during the length of the program.

Where can I use my HP PurchasEdge Rewards card?

HP PurchasEdge Rewards cards are redeemable for HP brand printers and/or HP brand paper sold at any Office Depot store in the USA.

What if I lose my rewards card?

The issuance of HP PurchasEdge Rewards cards is final, except in the event that a card has been issued in error. Lost or stolen HP PurchasEdge Rewards cards will not be reissued.

How can I refer a friend into the program?

You have the option of adding your friends e-mail addresses from your address book or you can simply type it in.

How many coupons will I receive for referring friends and how much are the coupons for?

You can receive two different types of coupons. First, you can get one coupon for inviting three or more friends into the program. This coupon is for $5 off your next qualifying purchase of $25 or more. Second, you can get a coupon for each friend that becomes a Worklife Rewards™ Member! This coupon is for $10 off your next qualifying purchase of $40 or more.

How do I get my coupons?

The $5 off your next qualifying purchase of $25 or more coupon will be posted on your www.shareworkliferewards.com Status Page. The $10 off your next qualifying purchase of $40 or more coupon will be e-mailed to you.

Will I get spam?

No, you will not get spam. You will only receive e-mails from us pertaining to the status of your account. Your Member information will not be sold or rented to any company outside Office Depot® and its affiliates.
