Terms and Conditions ("Terms")
Reward Program
Office Depot® Worklife Rewards Members ("Member") receive reward credit ("Rewards") on "qualifying purchases" made at Office Depot® stores, by phone at 1-800-GO-DEPOT (800-463-3768) or online at www.officedepot.com or www.officedepot.ca (Canadian customers).
To receive Rewards, your Member Number must be registered. If you have picked up a temporary card from one of our store locations or an event location, you must register your Member Number by either calling 800-GO-DEPOT (800-463-3768) or registering online at www.myworkliferewards.com. At the end of each Quarter, Members with unregistered numbers forfeit any Rewards accumulated for that Quarter and will not receive Rewards for that Quarter.
Your Member Card or Member Number must be presented at time of purchase to be eligible to receive Rewards.
Rewards are offered on qualifying purchases, excluding tax and discounts, made within each Quarter as follows:
10% back in Rewards on purchases of ink and toner, case, ream and photo paper and products/services from Design, Print and Ship(excludes merchandise returns, thermal fax paper, paper rolls used in adding machines and cash registers, postage stamps and logo designs by Logoworks®).
1% back in Rewards on almost everything else (excludes merchandise returns; purchases from www.techdepot.com, Albertsons supermarkets, U.S. Military stores; purchases of computers, monitors, TV’s, gift cards, third party business services, including, but not limited to technology, installation, wireless, satellite, and Internet services).
Purchases made with Office Depot® Reward or Merchandise Cards are excluded from purchases qualifying for future Rewards.
Current Quarters are as follows:
1/01 – 3/31
4/1 – 6/30
7/1 – 9/30
10/1 – 12/31
Rewards are issued as long as a minimum of $10 has been earned in the Quarter.
Qualifying purchases will be carried over from Quarter to Quarter but all unrewarded purchases will expire December 31 of each year.
There is no maximum amount of Rewards that can be earned in one Quarter.
Reward Cards are currently issued in the form of an Office Depot® Reward Card. Office Depot reserves the right to issue Rewards in any form, including coupons or checks. No extensions or other exchanges will be allowed for expired Reward Cards.
Reward Cards may be redeemed on purchases of merchandise only, which exclude any type prepaid third party, gift merchandise, debit or service cards, including, without limitation, Visa, MasterCard and AmEx debit cards, prepaid telephone cards, etc. Reward Cards may not be exchanged for Office Depot® Gift or Merchandise Cards.
Reward Cards are issued within 60 days after the end of each Quarter and will be valid for 90 days after the date of issuance. Reward Cards do not constitute property, do not entitle a member a vested right or interest and have no cash value. As such, Reward Cards are not redeemable for cash, transferable or assignable for any reason. The sale of Reward Cards is strictly prohibited. Reward Cards shipped and returned as undeliverable will be forfeited.
The issuance of Reward Cards is final except in the event that a card has been issued in error. Lost or stolen Reward Cards will not be reissued.
The Member Card is not a credit card or gift card, but intended as a method of tracking Rewards.
Members are responsible for taxes, charges or other liabilities related to or resulting from their participation in the Program.
General Rules to Program
No annual membership fee.
You must be a legal resident of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia or Canada and at least 18 years of age to participate in this program.
Membership is open to Office Depot customers, except that Contract Sales, State, Municipal and Federal Government accounts are not eligible to participate in this program.
All terms and conditions contained in the Office Depot® Catalog also apply. Office Depot reserves the right to disqualify a member who violates these terms and conditions in its sole discretion.
Acknowledgment and Acceptance
By participating in the Program, you consent to the terms and conditions, rules, regulations, policies and procedures of this Program. You are responsible for remaining knowledgeable about the Program’s terms and conditions.
Office Depot reserves the right to change or terminate the Program, or any portion thereof, at any time, with or without prior written notice. The Program structure is subject to modification, or limitation in the sole discretion of Office Depot, at any time with or without notice, and Office Depot reserves the right to modify the current Rewards redemption values, to establish additional Rewards redemption values or to delete any or all of the currently recognized Rewards redemption values. The interpretation and application of the policies, procedures or Rewards of the Program are in the sole discretion and determination of Office Depot, which in each case shall be final and conclusive.
Office Depot assumes no responsibility for errors caused by incorrect Member information.
Your Member information will not be sold or rented to any company outside of Office Depot and its affiliated companies. In order to facilitate your account, we may share your information with our trusted vendors, who have agreed to keep your information confidential. Your information will be used for the purpose of account maintenance, improving not only your customer experience but also the range and types of products and services offered by us to you, as well as to notify you of special offers, promotions, and/or catalogs which may be of interest to you. Of course we will comply with all laws regarding information access by federal and state authorities and may use such information to protect the integrity of the Program or the safety of the Members. The failure of Office Depot to comply with the Terms because of an act of God, war, fire, riot, terrorism, earthquake, actions of federal, state or local governmental authorities or for any other reason beyond the reasonable control of Office Depot, shall not be deemed a breach of this Agreement. If any such contingency shall last for more than sixty (60) days, Office Depot shall have the right to terminate this Program by giving notice with no further liability to any member.
The laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, will govern these Terms, as well as your and our observance of them. If you take any legal action relating to your use of our Rewards Program or these Terms, you agree to file such action only in the state and federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
If Office Depot fails to act with respect to your breach or anyone else’s breach on any occasion, Office Depot is not waiving its right to act with respect to future or similar breaches.
These Terms, together with those items made a part of these terms by reference, make up the entire agreement between us relating to the Program, and replaces any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the Program. If a court finds any of these Terms to be unenforceable or invalid, that Term will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and the other Terms will remain valid and enforceable. The Program is void where prohibited by law.
Office Depot® & HP® PurchasEdge Retail Pilot Program
Reward Credit Program
Office Depot® Worklife Rewards™ Members ("Worklife Member") are eligible to sign up to receive rewards ("HP PurchasEdge Rewards") on purchases of HP® brand ink, toner and paper made at Office Depot® stores within the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, online at www.officedepot.com or by phone at 1-800-GO-DEPOT (1-800-463-368) ("Qualifying Purchase") during the Pilot Reward Periods, defined below, beginning September 1, 2007 through December 31, 2008 (the "Pilot Program Period"). (Pilot Program is not available in Canada.)
To receive HP PurchasEdge Rewards, you must be a Worklife Rewards Member and you must sign up through www.myworkliferewards.com. Customers enrolled in the Contract HP PurchasEdge Program directly through HP are not eligible to participate in this Pilot Program.
Your Worklife Rewards Membership card or Worklife Rewards Member number must be presented at time of purchase to be eligible to receive HP PurchasEdge Rewards.
HP PurchasEdge Rewards are not offered on purchases from www.TechDepot.com or U.S. Military stores.
Pilot Reward Periods are as follows:
September 1– December 31, 2007
January 1 – March 31, 2008
April 1 – June 30, 2008
July 1 – September 30, 2008
October 1 – December 31, 2008
A minimum of $250 in Qualifying Purchases is required during a Pilot Reward Period to be offered HP PurchasEdge Rewards for that particular Pilot Reward Period. HP PurchasEdge Rewards will be offered as follows:
4% back of your total net dollar amount of Qualified Purchases, which exclude tax, returns and discounts, in the form of an HP PurchasEdge Rewards Card.
Qualifying purchases may be carried over from prior PurchasEdge Pilot Reward Periods, however all unpaid rewards will expire at the end of the Pilot Program Period.
There is no limit on the amount of HP PurchasEdge Rewards that can be earned during a Pilot Reward Period or during the Pilot Program Period.
HP PurchasEdge Reward Cards can only be redeemed at Office Depot retail store locations and on the purchase of HP® brand printers and/or HP® brand paper.
